James Harrison is a Harvard Business School OPM graduate, visionary innovator and founder of online ventures including, Safeonline.com and Insurancewide.com; the first insurance aggregator in the UK, which revolutionised the industry. James won UK e-commerce awards in 2003, Insurancewide was the 26th fastest growing company in The Times Tech 100, 2003. James advises doglost.com and Entertainment New Media (ENM) in the UK before moving to the USA to become CEO of OnTrade.com, recently bought by Conference Hound the conference discovery platform. He is continuing to work there as an advisor. He also advises start-ups and growing online businesses. James was a regular commentator on the BBC and SKY TV on all matters Internet and personal finance when he lived in the UK.

Founded the first Insurance comparison site in the UK. We launched in 1999 and offered a comparison of all major insurers. We powered the insurance search on MSN, Yahoo! Orange, Tiscal and many more. This revolutionised the way insurance was bought in the UK

Worked on early PKI technology, open ID to try to work out a way to make the internet a safe place for e-commerce. We pioneered online credit card protection, wrote the first cyberliability insurance policy and worked with eBay on their safe harbour workings. Verisign invested in the company in 1999.
